What Is LEIA ? –
LEIA is the trade association and advisory body for the Lift and Escalator Industry. It aims to ensure its members have the best and most up to date information on safety, standards and legislative matters – supported by professional assistance. LEIA membership requires that member companies have a quality management system and are certificated to ISO 9001 – and that the awarding body is accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS).

Every organisation has a legal obligation to ensure that contractors working on their premises operate in a safe way. The scheme is designed to review and audit the health and safety policies, procedures and documentation of contractors.

We are certified with BSI (British Standard Institution) to ISO 9001:2008 UKAS Management System. Our policy is to maintain a quality system designed to meet the requirements of ISO 9001:2008.
We recognise the social and economic importance of protecting the environment, and its commitment to this encompass all activities. Our approach to managing our environmental issues are compliant to ISO 14001:2004.
We are currently working with BSI (British Standard Institution) to obtain our BS OHSAS 18001 certificate. This is the best benchmark for occupational health and safety management and will raise our high standard of health and safety practices.
